Flight Risk

The Flight Risk tool is available only in MxVision AviationSentry Online® Helicopter Edition.

Determine how weather conditions may affect the risk level of your flight. Two profiles are available to help you calculate how risky it will be to make the flight. Select which weather conditions are currently occurring and whether they are forecast to improve or get worse. You can also indicate aspects of your flight that should be taken into consideration including time of day, terrain, and wind conditions.

Check your flight risk

1. Click the Flight Risk Menu option.
   

2. Select Yes or No to each of the weather conditions listed under starting point, enroute and destination. Select whether the conditions are expected to improve or deteriorate.

3. Make appropriate selections within the IFR section.

4. Select the flight conditions that apply under Flight Profile.

5. Click Calculate Risk to view the flight risk based on your selected settings.
